Pocket Door or Cloak: buy now or save Gems?
Guide report + wiki advice
The October 4 report lists Pocket Door at 400 Gems and Cloak at 1,000 Gems. If those prices still apply, 400 Gems covers Pocket Door but leaves you 600 Gems short of Cloak. Check the live shop before using that budget.
Pocket Door adds an obstacle; Cloak briefly hides your character. As a spending decision, consider whether your problem is making space to change lanes or being visually tracked. Saving for Cloak is reasonable when hiding fits the situation you want to practice. Buying Pocket Door is reasonable when you can identify a useful obstacle placement. Neither choice is proven best for every Runner.
Can I still get hit while using Cloak?
Guide report + wiki advice
Yes, according to the inspected Roonby report: Cloak hides the Runner but does not prevent hits. Invisibility should not be treated as invincibility.
As practice advice, plan an exit rather than running through a Chaser because your character is hidden. This wiki has not measured how tracking, visibility or collision behaves in the current game version.
Choose a job for the ability
Wiki advice
Begin with a sentence: “I want this ability to help when…” If you cannot finish it with a specific situation, play a little longer before spending.
For a Runner, the problem might be losing space or being easy to track. For a Chaser, it might be reaching the lane you identified. Match the effect to that problem rather than treating a price as a measure of strength.
Keep price and usefulness separate
Wiki advice
A lower reported Gem price can make an option accessible sooner, but it does not establish that it fits your play. A higher price is not proof of a stronger result.
This reference deliberately avoids S/A/B rankings and win-rate claims. No controlled comparison, full ability catalogue or current balance sheet was available in the inspected material.
Confirm before you buy
